Crossed arms

When was the last time you crossed your arms behind your head?

Crossed arms indicate a comfortable, body-warming posture and signal a feeling of well-being.

Open arms also signal that no threat is to be expected.

You can use this position for a break and the conscious activation of the rest and recovery nerve. In this relaxed position, look at your left elbow without moving your head away from the center.

Let the eyes rest on the left elbow until a deep breath comes.

Then look to your right elbow, the head remains stable.

After a few normal breaths comes the deep breath, which indicates the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system.
