Fixed gaze

Especially during an intensive preparation phase for a workshop or a project, it happens that I look rigidly into the PC all day long.

Our brain actually knows a rigid gaze especially when frightening, but in this situation the prefrontal cortex, our thinking brain, switches off.

We need clarity and alertness if we want to tell a good story.

My tip: short breaks with the mind opener exercise (active eye movements) get the processing flow going again.

Move your eyes at a comfortable pace from left to right, on all 3 levels, straight ahead, slightly above  and finally slightly below your line of sight.
